Easy to install, nice and bright
i installed these in a carport in between two LED light fixtures that screw into existing light sockets that are supposed to be motion sensor lights but don’t work well. I found a motion sensor solution for these shop lights that is very adjustable and works well. Contrary to responses I got saying it can’t be done, this works well to add a motion sensor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSXYJD68I am going to get another set or two of these lights for portable and temporary outdoor lighting needs, such as camping or backyard. The 50 foot length I think is more useful and manageable than the 100 foot, at least for my purposes.To install in the carport, I used these diamond shaped hooks for the carabiners included with the lights.These are great for windy conditions as they have a clip to keep them on the hook.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCYVK2G4I then used a few of these rounded versions with the clip to keep the cabling secured: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D87FXN2CTo test out the motion sensor to make sure it worked, I just used a strong magnet to attach it to a joist hanger. The motion sensor does come with a stick on magnet as well as screw in options. I will have it installed permanently now that I know it works. I went out there to take some photos for this review and the sensor worked perfectly, as I wanted it to come on with motion detected some distance from the carport. The screw-in motion sensor lights I just bought to replace the previous failing lights never came on. I will return them. The previous ones were also replacements but at least they worked somewhat. They would come on in a slight wind or whatever, and stay on, and then one burned out. These new ones are a lot worse and don’t even come on most of the time.Bottom line, I highly recommend these lights, as well as the motion sensor if desired.

We love these lights!
These string lights are very bright without glaring. The 100 ft length with the distance between the lights is great for where we needed them. We have accidentally banged the lights against things and they just bounce off without breaking. The hooks on the lights make installing them in various places easy. The price is good enough that I am planning to get more sets.
