Very cool bedside lamp!
We got this bedside lamp for our bedroom, and even though we haven’t hooked it up to Alexa or used any of the voice control features yet, we’ve still really been enjoying it just for its basic functionality. It works great straight out of the box as a touch lamp, and it’s been a nice little upgrade from a standard nightstand light. The touch controls are super convenient, it’s easy to switch it on, adjust brightness, or change colors without fumbling for a tiny switch in the dark. The different color options and scene modes are actually pretty fun. You can keep it on a soft warm light for reading or winding down, or switch over to one of the color settings when you want more of a cozy, ambient vibe in the room. The brightness range is nice too. It can go dim enough to work as a gentle night light, but also bright enough for everyday use without being harsh. The build feels solid and not cheap, and the design is simple enough that it blends in well with the rest of the room instead of sticking out.Even without using the WiFi or smart features, it still feels like a versatile lamp so I like that you get the smart options if you want to take advantage of them later, but you’re not forced to rely on them for it to be useful. We may eventually connect it to Alexa, but for now we’re totally happy using it as a regular touch controlled bedside lamp.

Major toddler approved
This thing punches way above its weight. The colors are legitimately vibrant, not that washed-out pastel nonsense a lot of “smart” lamps end up with, and the music sync actually works. It reacts fast and feels intentional instead of random blinking chaos.Connectivity is a tale of two worlds. Bluetooth pairing is excellent. Fast, stable, painless. Wi-Fi pairing is rough. Fiddly, temperamental, and easily the weakest part of the experience. Ironically, the product listing says Wi-Fi only, which is just wrong. This absolutely supports Bluetooth, and honestly Bluetooth is how you’ll want to use it unless you enjoy suffering.Power is where I have to dock some credit. It uses a USB-A to DC barrel jack (5.5 mm OD × 2.1 mm ID) instead of USB-C. That adapter choice is so 2014. Really wish this was USB-A to USB-C or, better yet, USB-C to USB-C like civilized electronics in the current decade. As it stands, if a cat chews the cable or a kid attacks it with scissors like a tiny agent of chaos, replacement is more annoying than it should be. Not a dealbreaker, just dated. The Daybetter app feels like it was made by a teenager using an AI app writer in some far-flung country with an unstable electrical grid. Broken English, odd phrasing, clunky layout, and minimal polish. It technically works, but no one involved stopped to ask if it should be pleasant.Big plus: it’s majorly toddler-approved. Bright colors, instant reactions, music sync, and touch controls mean kids love it and immediately understand how to use it without breaking anything or declaring it boring. All that said, this lamp is still awesome. Great light quality, fun scene modes, solid music response, excellent Bluetooth performance, and once it’s set up, it just works. If you can tolerate a janky app and mostly ignore Wi-Fi, it’s an easy recommendation.

Bright Colorful Lamp, Not fully Home Assistant compatible, barrel power connector, DayBetter App
Very cool looking lamp. The lamp is bright and easy to use. The DayBetter app is required to use the lamp. I was able to find a Third Party integration so I could add the lamp to Home Assistant but It doesn’t seem to work very well. It has a LN882HKI chip inside so It might be possible to flash it using LibreTiny Platform so that it works with ESPHome but I’ve not tried this yet. I really wish with this lamp supported Thread or Matter and had a USB-C connector instead of a barrel connector.
