Truly Blackout, Very Insulating, and Elegant
I have desperately needed these for a long time, and I’m so glad I finally went for it. These are actual blackout curtains, despite the pale color, and offer two different ways to hang (rod sleeve or pocket loops throughout the back). Not only do they do a fantastic job blocking out the light, but they also really do keep the temperature blocked!I recently moved my computer desk beside the front widow, and was always freezing cold sitting at the desk. These curtains were an immediate difference the moment they were put up! If I leave the curtain back even a crack, I can feel a strong cold draft–which now has me questioning how well the house’s windows are actually insulated if a small fabric layer can manage to hold all this back on its own. I do notice the air unit coming on a little bit less frequently, and I can actually tell when the heater’s on in the room–before, it felt like the warm air was being swallowed up by the cold.And of course, most importantly, our tv that’s directly facing the window no longer has a glare, and we can now even watch dark scary movies in the middle of the day. Our newer 55″ tv catches so much glare, and even bright cartoons were hard to watch during the day.I’m very happy to say, these curtains accomplish every task it’s made for. They are large enough to completely cover our wide front double-window, and the curtain rod sleeve is wide enough for the curtains to glide on in seconds (by comparison, the ones we replaced these with took about two minutes to squeeze off). I like that they can be hung different ways, and they look very nice in our living room. They’re slightly wrinkled out of the package, and I was too anxious to cover the cold windows to take the time to put them in the dryer, but it’s barely noticeable anyway.These were a good deal for how well they are made and how well they function. I’m glad I took a chance on this brand before spending almost double for a name brand. I will be happy to buy my next set from this brand as well. I highly recommend this curtain!

Perfect for the person who wants it dark! I love the neutral color and the privacy that they provide also. They fit well, install easily and are a great value for the money! I steam ironed the wrinkles from being packaged and they are beautiful. The are a good quality and looks like they will hold up well when washed.

Works great but…cracks
These definitely get the job done. They are nice and thick and keep out the light and the heat for my living room. They do have some wrinkles and cracks unfortunately that stay and some light can bleed through the cracks. The cracks also downgrade the appearance a bit, but the curtains are still doing their job for the most part, so I am happy.The cracks might have been partially my fault and I leaned stuff up against curtain for a long period when it was folded or creased.

Doesn’t feel like fabric
Works great for the blackout part but the material, while nice looking, feels like thick plastic or rubber. Strong smell, too, that may have dissipated but not keeping long enough to find out.
