Nice pattern, and they block light very well – but I don’t love how they mount.
These curtains are pretty good. They offer a nice plaid pattern that goes well with a lot of different decor. They do a good job of blocking light, so if you are a day sleeper and need a very dark room they work well. The only thing I don’t really like about them (and why I’m taking off 1 star) is how they mount. They have loops sewn into the top of the curtain rather than more traditional metal rings or hoops. These don’t slide as well on a curtain rod, and easily get stuck on the expansion joint of my curtain rod (see photo). They also don’t allow the curtains to open as wide as other mounting systems do, as each loop is at least an inch and a half wide, and they don’t compress down. As a result, with my window I can only open them about 75% as I want to. But they work well in my guest bedroom, where they will be drawn closed nearly all the time.
