The Root & Vessel Majestic MCM Low Profile Cylinder Pots are recyclable and proudly made in the USA. For best results and to promote healthy plants when planting, create a drainage layer on the bottom of the pot by adding a medium such as pebbles, pumice, or clay pieces. The drainage layer should be about 2-3 inches. To prevent overwatering when using outdoors, expose the bottom drainage holes by removing the built-in tray. Add potting mix and fill the container up to 1″ from the top. Add or transplant your favorite plant to the pot. Position the planter in an area that will allow the plant to receive the recommended amount of sunlight. After initial planting, refer to the after-care instructions for each specific plant species and water accordingly.

The perfect pot for me!
Some people may think a pot is just a pot, then there are those of you who are like me. I have a lot of plants through out my home, each in a white decorative pot of some kind. My smaller plants are all on shelves, so the weight of the pots doesn’t matter, however, I like to hang my larger plants in front of windows, so I need a lightweight pot. I also prefer my pots not be taller than they are wide, as I grow Hoyas, which have smaller root systems, plus, I just like the way it looks for the plants I grow. On top of all that, drainage is a MUST. These preferences can make finding the right pot quite difficult, but thankfully, this pot has all I could want. It’s plastic, so it’s lightweight, yet it doesn’t look cheap, and it’s a nice bright white. It has numerous drainage holes, with a removable bottom, to keep roots from being over watered. The width to height ratio is perfect, and it looks really nice in a macrame hanger, or on a round shelf hanger. When I water, and inevitably get dirty fingerprints on the pot, the dirt wipes right off with a wet paper towel. All that said, I recommend this pot!

They are great quality and are a strong plastic material for the price. It wasIt was easy to put together and the holes worked great. It was designed so well for versatility. The moisture control is great.

Plastic, not ceramic, looks good and serves small plants
At first I was highly disappointed because I was expecting a ceramic pot.. So I read the description and it did say plastic, maybe not as clearly as I expected. Probably worth adding twice as much to get a ceramic, but I said nah lets try it.Youll see in my pictures the size, dimensions are true to the description. Doesnt look too elegant but good enough for plastic.Heres a big minus, the tray is so brutally connected, I was sure Ill break it when trying ti disconnect! Should be much easier, as these trays need to be cleaned every so often. So I’d recommend you to properly break the clips that hold them – which is fine because youll get the needed larger drain holes. Ok? Watch the pics so you see what I mean and do it for your plant’s future sake. – Imagine not doing it, and when you have the plant potted, you burst-snap the tray and the plant flies off the pot with the soil….. Ok imagined? Be proactive and dont let it happen.Anyways this is for my Rue (Ruda) plant that I just got, and youll see my setup with the sun-lights.

Sturdy
No assembly needed, easy to wipe off if it gets dirty, and a good value. The black is a nice shade and the plastic is thick and sturdy. It is perfect for my houseplants. It has a water tray at the bottom which I love.

Good but what’s the point of a saucer if there is no gap between the base and the saucer
Pros- Pots well made and sturdy- Plastic doesn’t seem cheap- Good value for the priceConsThe base of the pot is barely above the base of the saucer which means all the water will just sit in the pot and cause root rot. Looking for a different alternative as this is a poor design.

Terrible quality, looks scratched and scuffed all the way around the pot, as well as top edge is not smooth, rough bits of plastic poking upwards. Very cheaply made, worth only a couple dollars at most. Very dissappointed, especially for the price.
