Great purchase based on honest reviews
I am exceptionally pleased with this clock it is unique, stylish, slightly edgy and goes great with my condo decor. There are hundreds of clocks one could purchase at the same price as the Ribbon S.S. that are plastic but veneered to resemble wood, metal, etc. – this is a great deal. Keeps great time, very quiet and is well made. For the reviewer who complained of smudges which prompted the them to question the authenticity of the material, well believe or not stainless steel is capable of smudging – solution wipe off the smudge. After all it is not like one is handling the clock everyday. In terms of the hands being difficult to see; well if one is in the proximity of the clock it is not difficult to read, however, if one is on the other side of the room then yes.Amazon thank you again for selling a product that was delivered quickly, packaged with care and well worth the money !!

Good quality and fits so well to the theme of my office – modern/chrome. Let me tell you, the steel is so sturdy and does not feel cheap at all.The size is perfect. There is nothing much really to say because it’s a stylish, modern and functional wall clock. It requires one AA battery, which is not included in the package.I am attaching photos with the measurements to help you see the actual dimensions: Length, width, and height. See if it’s a good fit to the size of your room. I am also attaching a photo that shows how the back of the clock looks like.I hope the photos help you in you in some way.

Edit: 5 years has passed since this review. It was a great clock, got compliments from others — but finally the motor died. However, for the price, a decent lifespan – I’m considering purchasing another.The design is modern and fun. Really like how it looks in my home and seems to be of good quality.The ticking is a tiny bit loud, but it either got quieter or I got used to it. It’s definitely not super loud or I’d be irritated by it. For the price and the quality design, it is a good value.

Great clock if you’re looking for something other than basic! I have mine in the bathroom. Love the red hands, as it’s a pop of color that matches my red towels. It’s also silent.

Stylish kitchen clock
I spent a fair amount of time looking for a kitchen clock that offered some measure of style but still provided for the basic functionality of being able to clearly see the time. This caught my eye, and it has worked out wonderfully. The style fits well into my kitchen (lots of stainless steel appliances) and the red clock hands are easy to spot. Since it lacks numbers it’s not possible to use this for precise time measurement, but it gives me what I need.It does make some sound, but the ticking is very muted. Oddly, the ticking varies based on where the second hand is. It’s loudest from 12 to 6, then gets quieter, and can’t be heard at all from 9 to 12. But, even at the loudest point I don’t find it obtrusive or annoying.It has an easy to use keyhole slot for mounting on the wall, and runs on a single AA battery.Highly recommend.

Looks good, but doesn’t work!
I like the design, and it’s very easy to read. I wish it was a little larger, but it works well enough in the space where I planned to use it. A month after I hung it, I realized it wasn’t working correctly. It’s not in a room I use very often, so I didn’t notice that it wasn’t keeping proper time. I can see the minute hand moving, but the time is never right… it’s off by several hours. I’ve replaced the batteries at least twice, and returned it to the correct time on 5-6 occasions. I sent an email to the address Amazon provided, along with a copy of my order and a photo of the clock. I have yet to receive a response. I would NOT buy from this company again, as their cusomer service is poor. I plan to re-send the same info to Umbra, but I will also be reporting this problem to Amazon.

Quick shipping easy to hang to a wall, I’ve hung it in my home office room, it works very well good design just be careful if touching the time levers, as they look rather delicate and could easily bend

Acier et volume font très bon ménage. Petit bémol : aiguilles très fines, un peu difficile de lire l’heure mais elle est superbe et très originale. Aucun bruit donc très agréable.
