Good bright light that’s dimmable and adjustable color – daylight to soft white
Great inexpensive floor lamp. I like that you can adjust the brightness and color temperature from daylight to soft white. It’s good and bright at the highest setting but you can dim it when needed. It’s nice you can control it from the base and also from a remote. It’s stable and looks nice – just like the picture.

Favorite torch light of all time
We love this lamp (bought one and then have bought 3 more…one a gift) and am getting to put in my cart again. We love that you can vary the hue of the light and brightness on the stand or via magnetic remote…works well and like having a switch on other side of room. We bought the first one well over a year ago and still going strong.

Great Product
This lamp is amazing. There’s no light fixtures in the bedrooms of my apartment and this lamp brightens my entire room. There’s about 4-5 settings so I tend to use the white light setting while working. After work I switch to ambient lighting. You can also adjust how bright or dim you want each setting. The height is great and assembly is easy. If you find you have too much cord in the middle during assembly, pull down on the bottom controller at the base that turns the lamp on.

Perfect lamp for a room that’s dark
I love this lamp! It was so easy to put together, and it is remote-controlled! It is bright, without being overwhelming. It lights up my entire living room. When I lost my overhead light when my ceiling fan died, I was worried I would be in the dark forever. Then I found this beautiful lamp. In 2 days, I was illuminated with rays of sunshine in my living room. it has a softness to the light, yet it’s bright enough that you will swear you have all the windows and doors open to let in the sun. And assembly is a breeze! I’m 63 years old, and it took me maybe 20 minutes from start to finish to put it together. Love this lamp!! It’s beautiful, too.

Great light output and features, lower marks for sturdiness and fashion
Pros: The light output was really good, better than a halogen torchier from 1990s (and this lamp doesn’t pose a fire danger if it’s knocked over). Being able to angle the light source was a nice feature (although the head of the lamp only shifts in one direction). The dimmer was a great feature, the remote was a great feature, and the price (Amazon day sale) was good. Assembly was easy (we took the advice of others to assemble from the top down).Cons (the reason only 4 stares): All but one of the light settings were too harsh (a blue-green caste that you would never use except for maybe crafting), so functionally, there is just one “warmer” light. Despite tightening the “stem” securely to the base, the lamp is still pretty wobbly. The base is pretty heavy, so I don’t worry about it tipping over, but the stem moves a lot when you try to use the buttons on it or when you attach (or remove) the (magnetic) remote control. It’s better to plug the lamp into an outlet controlled by a light switch (which is what we have) or use the remote You can tell from the photos that it’s not a very fashionable light, but in person, it’s obvious that the white “face” is just a piece of plastic. That’s not an issue when it’s pointed directly at the ceiling, but kind of cheap looking when you can see it. Finally, there is about a 1-second delay between when you push the button (or flip the switch) and when the light goes on, which is a little disconcerting.Bottom line: For the price, it puts out a lot of light and has some nice features. The handy remote means you can turn on/off the light from across the room (like when entering from the front door–if there isn’t a switch–or dim the light from the couch to watch TV, turn it on/off from bed, etc.). Best for situations where you won’t actually be touching the lamp (too wobbly) and where “fashion” is less important than function.

My room was like a dungeon and now it is as if the sun is shining (although I can dim the light to a more respectable brightness). Very easy to set up and use.

Don’t but it!
This product design has a major logical flaw. The foot switch and the remote control cannot control the light simultaneously. For example, if I used the foot switch to turn off the light last time, I must use the foot switch again to turn it on; the remote control will not work. Conversely, if I used the remote control to turn off the light last time, I cannot use the foot switch to turn it on the next time. If I don’t remember which method I used to turn on the light last time, I need to try both methods to ensure the light turns on. Imagine, when you want to turn on the light, you need to fumble around in complete darkness to find two switches, otherwise there’s only a 50% chance of turning on the light. It’s utterly ridiculous. I can’t understand what kind of company would design such a stupid product.
