It Works as Described, but Be Aware White Isn’t an Option
I got these because I wanted to add some light to a dark closet. The motion detection functionality was attractive.I didn’t read the description closely enough. Most RGB lights will also do some form of white. These do not. Since I didn’t want my closet to look like a nightclub every time I open the door, I opted not to use them.That being said I did do additional testing before the review:- As promised they’re magnetic. The magnets seem strong enough to do their job.- The lights put out about as much light as a night light, which I suspect is what most people want.- You can cycle through six different color options.- The motion detection works exactly as you’d expect.- In terms of looks, they aren’t the most stylish, but they’re exactly as described in the photo.- They are USB rechargeable, so when the lights die you can easily pull them down, plug them in, and stick them back up after a charge.Overall I don’t think this is a bad product, just not what I was hoping for. If you’re okay with one of the six colors it offers, you’ll likely be satisifed.

High Quality, Durable, Convenient, Motion Sensor Night Lights
These are a high quality, durable, rugged set of rechargeable lights. You can feel the moment you take them out of the package that the lights will withstand a lot of use.The lights are extremely easy to use. I like the separate switch on the side of the lights that allows the flexibility to switch between on, off, always on and auto. The motion sensor works well. The lights light up when I walk by, and they turn off automatically to conserve the battery. The battery has a long life on the auto mode. I rarely put my rechargeable lights on the always on setting as I have found the battery doesn’t last long on this setting.The touch feature on the front of the lights allows the lights to be brightened or dimmed when it is held down. I was pleasantly surprised to see how bright the lights are, when I didn’t expect they would be due to the fact they are colored lights.The lights are easy to set up and mount. They come with a mount on the back of the lights. I tested the lights on my refrigerator. They did not adhere well to the metal surface, and they slid right down the side of my fridge. So, I personally did not find the magnets to be very strong. and I took off one star for this reason.The lights are extremely functional, versatile and convenient. I got them to use in a hallway, but they would work great for any area that needs safety lighting. They are great too for emergency lighting in a hallway or other area in the event of a blackout. I especially love this set of lights that don’t cause bright white light at night that can wake me up at night when my cat or dog triggers the motion sensor.At the time I write this review, they are a good value at $33.99 with a coupon that offers an additional discount.This is a great quality set of lights that are extremely convenient, as they can be used anywhere without the need for an outlet. I am happy with the V4light RGB Motion Sensor Night Light.

I’m super impressed with these motion sensor night lights. The quality is great and they work extremely well. They’re really easy to operate, with a high quality 4 position switch on the bottom for off, constant on, motion sensor activation anytime, and motion sensor activation only in dark. The LED color and brightness are easy to set with the press button on the face. The motion sensitivity and range are excellent. I also like that they’re rechargeable using USB C. The press button turns red when charging, and green when fully charged. The round magnets with adhesive backing for mounting make them easy to install, and to remove for charging.I’m using them on red at full brightness to illuminate the path to my en suite bathroom at night. I put them at baseboard level, and they activate as soon as my foot hits the floor. They stay on for 10 seconds from the last motion. They’re not as bright as a traditional white night light and don’t cast as far, but I find the brightness and distance are definitely enough to safely illuminate my path. I like that they don’t require an outlet, so they can be mounted anywhere. Because it’s LED and they only stay on for 10 seconds, the battery life is good before needing a charge.Overall, these LED night lights are great quality, function perfectly, and are a good value.

Not a bad design, but not for me
The V4light RGB Motion Sensor Night Lights offer a decent range of features for adding accent lighting to stairs or cabinets, but they come with some notable trade-offs. On the positive side, the motion sensor is quite responsive, effectively detecting movement within a 120° angle and a 10-foot range to guide you through dark hallways. I also appreciated the versatility of the four smart working modes and the ability to choose between six different colors or an auto-cycle mode for ambient lighting. The magnetic stick-on installation made them very easy to mount and remove whenever they needed a charge.However, the 500mAh rechargeable battery leaves something to be desired if you plan on using them in “Always On” mode or in high-traffic areas. While the 10-second auto-off feature helps conserve power, I found myself needing to recharge them more frequently than expected. Additionally, while the touch controls for brightness and color selection are intuitive, they can be a bit finicky to operate if the light isn’t mounted securely. These are a fair value for decorative or occasional safety use, but they might not be the best primary lighting solution for busy households.
